April 1, 2021
The Governor has updated the gathering restrictions which will take effect April 1, 2021.
All indoor non-worship gatherings at the Church are restricted to 25 people or less. Non-worship gatherings outdoors are limited to 100 people or less. Therefore, all non-worship gatherings, including church meetings, AA group meetings, etc., are limited in scope to a maximum of 25 people, unless the meeting will take place outdoors. At this time, most non-worship gatherings continue to meet virtually. However, please contact your group leader for more information. However, this does not affect our Sunday worship services. Sunday worship is still limited up to 50% capacity, with masks and social distancing required. To attend a worship service, please contact the church office by Thursday at 1:30 pm of the respective week you would like to attend.
We're excited to partner with our Cub Scouts to host a blood drive here at Hopewell UMC in Chesterfield. With many people working remotely, traditional office complexes are not open to support the blood needs of our community. By opening our doors, together we can help fill this need and help be the light for someone in need within our community.
All donations by appointment. All staff, volunteers, donors will follow healthy guidelines, including masks and proper distancing.
To participate, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: HopewellUMC to schedule an appointment.
We have resumed worship services at Hopewell United Methodist Church and have a few ways in which you can attend. First, we will continue our online presence via Livestream - see the Livestream section below. We offer in-person worship in the sanctuary. In-person will be subject to several requirements, including masks, proper distancing, and no singing. For those who are not quite ready to come inside, we will offer the ability to stay in your car in the parking lot and listen on the radio. Also available is a call-in conference call where you can listen in during the Service - call the Church office for more information.
Everyone planning to attend the in-person worship must register with the church by 1:30pm the Thursday prior. You may do this via the contact form on our Contact Us page, calling the Church @ 745-8773 or emailing Pastor Bob - firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do not attend in-person worship service if you have any possible signs/symptoms of Covid exposure or know to have been exposed to someone who has tested positive.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Hopewell UMC!
